5 year warranty and Seagate reliability

The Bottom Line: Go ahead and buy it. You can't beat Seagate's 5 year warranty on such a fast, reliable, and inexpensive hard drive.
Review: I needed a new hard drive, and I knew that Seagate was the only company offering a 5 year warranty on their hard drives. It cost more, but I believe that it was worth it.

Difficult install on Windows XP Pro

The Bottom Line: RECOMMENDATION for Windows XP Users: Buy a Western Digital or Maxtor drive instead; hopefully they ship with better software.
