Pros: Comfort, Visibility, Gas Mileage, Generates Excitement
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: This is a great car, that is fun to drive, and saves money on gas.
Review: For the last couple of years, I have greatly enjoyed owning a 2005 Hyundai Elantra. It provided reliable transportation, with no mechanical breakdowns of any kind, and was kind to my wallet with outstanding gas mileage. It was with great sadness ...

Pros: Lots of Features, upgrades, great mpg
Cons: Noise from wheels, low to the ground and no standard armrests
The Bottom Line: A very trendy car that appeals to the younger generation with multiple possibilities for cool upgrades and accessories.
Review: The Xb by Scion A Car for the Future The Toaster on Wheels...as some call it Stand Out Features The first thing that I noticed when test driving the Scion Xb was the speedometer, it is in the center of the dash board all in one ...

Pros: Interior room, MPG, has 'character', styling, seats, slick 5-speed shifter
Cons: complex stereo, interior panels scuff easily, paint chips easy, dealer prep poor, rust spots
The Bottom Line:
2 1/2 years 76k miles, almost no problems. An excellent used-car buy, and it's weird-looking too! Review: 2 1/2 years UPDATE !! After 2 1/2 years and now 76,000 miles, only one strange problem to report. Various check engine lights kept coming on, dealer said code was a timing problem code number. Very strange, said they ...

Pros: unique and interesting styling, great gas mileage, easy parking, interior space, too much to list
Cons: clunky shifter, small wheels, low engine power, no available cruise control, sunroof, or light-colored interior
The Bottom Line: If you're looking to drag race or blend in with the crowd, the Scion xB isn't for you. If you want an inexpensive, practical, fun car, test drive an xB.
Review: INTRODUCTION AND INTERIOR I test drove a 2006 Scion xB, a.k.a. the TOYota BOXy car. It had the automatic transmission and the big, expensive wheels with low-profile tires. My first impression was that the interior space was vast. I drove several ...

|
Pros: Comfort for tall drivers, great sound system, great mileage, smart Toyota engineering.
Cons: Wish it had cruise control.
The Bottom Line: No hassle pricing, great mileage and comfortable commuting and general around town manners make this a real winner. I love it!
Review: I have 3000 miles on my new Scion and am delighted. Let me say that I am 6'6" tall and my first question with any car, big or small, is if I can fit in it (hint: the size of the vehicle has no bearing on whether tall folks can fit in it.) Also, I was ...

Great Little Car

Pros: Great gas mileage, spacious interior, quality workmanship.
Cons: Awkward stereo controls, car gets buffeted a bit in high wind.
The Bottom Line: Once you get beyond the boxiness, this car makes a great alternative to a minivan, although it only seats five.
Review: I was hesitant when we first looked at this boxy little car. Sitting behind the wheel made all the difference, however. I cannot believe how spacious the interior of this car really is. I'm 6 feet tall and have long legs. I can literally cross my legs ...

Pros: Price, unique design, sound system, warranty, first 3 oil changes free, cargo capacity, comfort
Cons: Limited stock, low front valance clearance, grained dash that catches every crumb.
The Bottom Line: I recommend this car for price, style and no haggle policy. Forget being 20 this car is for everyone!
Review: Okay okay, after driving various used heaps over the years and vowing NEVER to pay the overinflated prices asked for some of the new cars, I happened to notice a Scion XB parked at my college. Yeah, some pimply faced 18 year old with entirely too much ...

Pros: price, Toyota quality, mileage, room
Cons: no trunk, others stare at you
The Bottom Line: Great bargain if you don't mind the quirky appearance
Review: When I first saw the XB, I thought "wow, what an ugly car.. who would drive that thing?". Then, I got in one, and answered my own question, which was, "smart folks, that's who". I was shopping for a car and had test driven the Toyota Rav 4, (couldn't ...

Pros: Roomy, great mileage, unusual design, reliability, great price, etc...
Cons: A bit weak climbing hills or passing giant SUVs, no freels interior, ummm...that's really it.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this vehicle for new families, singles who love to take friends out and anyone who wants a great combination of roominess, style, reliability and function.
Review: May 2006 My fiancée and I had grown tired of our elderly vehicles: a very trust-worthy 1990 Honda Accord and a pathetic 1994 Bonneville (yuck). We're not car-fanatics, so we searched for a reasonable, functional, inexpensive car. More specifically, ...

Pros: Utility, price, quality and value. Simple, unique design. 39 MPG on the highway.
Cons: Dash/door hard plastic scratches. Seat cloth. Manual shift not smooth always.
The Bottom Line: Look here first for value, utility, quality and price. Nothing like it at this price. Try the automatic AND manual transmission models. The rest is minor.
Review: Bought mine at the end of July and now have 5000 miles on it. Only option added was cruise control, a $400.00 option. Very well equipped with A/C, anti-lock brakes and stability control and nice stereo, standard. Mine has the standard 5-speed ...
