Suffering: You haven't seen anything yet...

The third installment of the SAW triology did not let down. I believe the movie has been mislabeled as a horror film - as I've mentioned in my review of SAW and SAW 2. The events that occur are horrifying, but not film itself is not jump in your seat scary - never has been.

But that's not a bad thing, the SAW triology remains wonderfully intense, action packed, gory, shocking and surprising.

John Cramer (Jigsaw) is on his death bed and requests the services of Lynn, a doctor, who must keep him alive so he can complete his final game, with his protege Amanda. Little do they know, the plot is more complex than Amanda and Dr. Lynn can ever realize.

Suddenly, everything will make sense. John Cramer is a brilliant man who has more than everything figured out and planned ahead of time. He knows everybody and how they will react and uses this against them.

No matter what you think is going to occur, you're wrong. The plot twist hits right at the end of the film and will blow you away (maybe literally).

I believe there will be a SAW IV, but who knows for sure?

The gore factor, although there, didn't seem to bother me as much as SAW 2 did. I assume you're reading this because you've seen the first two and want to see this one. The hardest scene I've ever had to watch in a movie was the hypodermic needles scene in SAW 2. SAW 3, although just as gory and sickening, wasn't disturbing to watch. Maybe I'm becoming neutralized to gore.
