Works like a champ

I've been using this card for several years to transfer data and photos between computers, as well as from my digital camera. I have never had a single problem. I loaned this card to a friend once, and she managed to corrupt the compactflash card, but I suspect she removed the card without turning it off. You should always turn off any pcmcia card before removing it from its slot, or else bad things can happen, including destroying the hardware. In this case, the only need was to reformat the compactflash card.

I use this card, along with a 512 MB compactflash module to move files. I used to do large files with CDR's, but no more. Now I use the CDR's for archival purposes.

This card allows you to use your compactflash just like any hard drive. I had a small problem with drive letter conflicts, but just reassigned the drive letters.
