I had purchased this card in the US for around 49.99 USD from circuitcity.com during my visit to USA 6 months back. I have been using this card in my Cannon A85 camera. I have always used to take the pictures at the best quality. This will approximately allow me to take around 800+ pictures in this best quality mode. I have a card reader through which I can easily transfer photos from this card and into this card also. I have not tried putting in any other types of files into this. As pointed out the transfer rate is pretty fast and around 800 photos to be transferred would hardly take a minute or so.

If you are shooting continuous photos I think then you will find it slow, since it will still show as reading / writing red light in the camera. I had compared this with one of my friend's card (don't remember the name now) and found that this card was taking more time than that.

I would not have purchased this product for the current offerings of 63 GBP etc., I personally feel that paying 63 GBP is expensive. Would advise you to see if you can get a good bargain for this product. Since this product is very reliable and have had no problems ever in using this. Prior to this I have used Sandisk lower capacity products and have found them also reliable.
