Mixed Emotions

Date of Review: Jan 15, 2007

I purchased two e260s from Dell to be used as Christmas gifts. One worked as advertised and the other was faulty. The faulty one would not allow you to erase the song titles when deleting old songs. They stayed on the device and would produce an error. I contacted Dell and they decided to send me a replacement e260. Once we got the replacement e260 the battery appeared to be dead. So we connected it to the computer with the USB cable and it appeared to be charging. After three hours we removed it from the computer and still it would not turn on. So, I opened it to look at the battery and noticed one of the terminals were broken off from the factory. After many e-mails to Dell they finally agreed to give me a refund. Also, durability on the good one is bad. It was dropped a short distance and the screen cover broke.
