Knocks the socks off the iPod
Date of Review: Mar 29, 2008
The Bottom Line: I reccomend this to anyone who would rather have a great mp3 player and $100 instead of just an iPod and, Uh oh you spent all your money on it!
I recieved this mp3 player for Christmas of 2007 and I love it. It has everything I need like video, music, pictures, voice recorder, FM radio, and an SD card slot for when you're running a little low on storage. It has two whole gigabytes of storage for tons of songs and hours of video.
The music is the best part. It's so clear and has such good quality. The earphones included work great, (although mine broke after a couple months, any earphones will work) and they are so comfortable to wear that you cant even feel them. You can make playlists too. The music is easy to access, easy to put on the mp3 player from the computer, and I think it's way more organized than the iPod.
The video is also awesome. The high resolution screen plays the video with crysal clear quality and sound like none other. Although you have to turn the player sideways to veiw videos, It's easy to get used to, a small sacrafice for a good music video or DVD.
The FM radio is great also. You can have presets, record music and run the auto-preset function very easily. And once again the sound quality is great. I prefer listening to the radio on my mp3 player rather than in the car just because of the sound quality.
The pictures are great too. Just as clear as the video, you can store thousands of pictures and create slideshows without the help of your computer.
The voice recorder is the funnest thing of all though. Just push the convenient record button on the side and record meetings, personal memos, classes, and anything else you can think of.
Overall I think this is an mp3 player worth buying. Better than the iPod Nano at less than half the price. Sandisk makes one heck of an mp3 player and I will always buy from them.
