SanDisk m250 2.0GB m3 wma player

WHY I CHOSE SANDISK M250
I wanted a player that would allow me to have LOTS of music, as well as play my favorite FM radio stations, and be really inexpensive. The SanDisk m250 was $130.00 at BestBuy. I compared it to the Ipod Nano, the Ipod Shuffle and IRiver. The big difference is that for $99.00 I could have gotten the others, but only 1 gig, not 2. Also, the Ipod's did not have an FM tuner, though IRiver did. So, I chose to go with the 2 gig. I did not care to look at video nor did I care to read documents, so this was a better choice than some of the hard disk mp3 players

QUALITY AND FEATURES
The sound quality is as good as the other players. It came with a holder, and an elastic band that you can put around your arm, but it is uncomfortable for exercising. I put the player in my pocket while I run, but will probably find a better holder.

I enjoy the FM Tuner because it makes it so that I do not have to miss that funny part of the morning radio show, or be late into an appointment if I want to listen to it as I walk. The tuner is included with the player- I did not have to buy it separately like the Ipod.

There's also a voice recorder which works best about two to three feet away from your mouth. Not great for recording personal conversations, (But what are you doing - spying?) but will work for voice notes.

The ear phones work well.

You can create play lists as well listen to songs repeat or continuous loops.

The AAA battery will last about 15 hours of continuous use

Screen is easy to see when backlight is on.

HOW TO LOAD MUSIC
The quick start directions said to drag and drop my music, but because I had my music saved at a much higher quality than the typical user, it took up much more room and I put it in the wrong place! The easy way to do it was to open Windows Media Player, and "Sync" what I wanted by dragging over the songs I wanted. Windows Media Player converted them, and put them in the right place.

It is very easy to work, and figuring it out is very easy.
