Author's Review
Okay, this thing is totally awesome. I got this gadget for Christmas, and I LOVE it! This, to me, is way more than an mp3 player. The only thing it doesn't have is a beverage dispenser. Here's what it's got:
-Voice recorder. The quality on this is excellent. It's like one of those $35 digital recorders, but built into it. I play guitar, and need to record a lot, so this is perfect for me! You also don't have to do any special saving or whatnot on the computer to get it onto the express; it just saves directly onto the player-poof!
-Radio. Okay, this is cool. The radio on this can track, like, every station down with super quality. A lot of my favorite songs are on the radio anyway, so I listen to it half the time. Another detail I forgot to mention-YOU CAN RECORD AND SAVE SONGS FROM THE RADIO! Absolutely NO ONE, in all the reviews that I've seen, have mentioned that! All you have to do, is go to the radio, hit DOWN, punch RECORD, and that's it.
-USB plug. Okay, this is one of the main reasons that I wanted this. You can instantly plug it into your computer, and drag-and-drop songs onto it. It also charges every time you plug it in, which would be way more often if you double it as a JUMPDRIVE! That is another reason of how this is not just your normal mp3 player.
-Sound quality. This is great. It's totally clear; it sounds like the artist or whatever is singing right in front of you!(or playing guitar, or the orchestra is playing, etc.,)
-IT'S NOT AN IPOD! I think that any player with all of this cool stuff blows away any old iPod.
Anyway, this is an awesome player, and there's a lot of other sweet stuff that I'd like to yak about that it has, but if I write any more than I did, you'll probably stop reading the review anyway. My only complaint is the earbuds it comes with; they hurt. (Heck, so do iPod earbuds.) But this is a review about the Sansa, not the earbuds, right? (personally, I would recommend the RCA marshmallows. ooohhh, they're nice.) Uh-oh, I'm getting sidetracked. Anyway, this way-more-than-a-normal-mp3 player ROCKS!
