Fantastic price for a good player

I've wanted an MP3 player for years, but held off because of the price.  I was so excited to find this player for a good price and from a good brand, and I haven't been disappointed.

When the Sansa Clip arrived, I double checked that they had sent the correct item.  It was so small I couldn't believe that it would work as well as they claimed, especially because it was so inexpensive.  It clips to my shirt, purse, even the baby's sling as I do housework.  The size doesn't make it difficult to use; the buttons are plenty large and the screen holds three lines of text, enough to find what you are looking for.

To recharge the battery, the clip must be plugged into a USB port.  I consider this an advantage because it can be charging while I am browsing music or creating playlists, but it would be difficult to recharge on a vacation or anywhere I was without a computer.  The battery life is supposed to be fifteen hours.  I found it is more like twelve or thirteen, but it charges quickly.

There is one major disadvantage to the Sansa Clip.  It is not at all waterproof.  Walking or jogging in the rain is a bad idea, as is changing tracks while doing dishes or watering the lawn.  SanDisk makes a waterproof sleeve for the player, but it is much more difficult to find accessories for this player than for an iPod, and the sleeve is expensive.  

Overall, I recommend this player very highly.  If were to purchase a player as a gift, this is the one I would choose.
