Sansa SanDisk MP3 Player

The 2GB Sansa SanDisk MP3 Player is a great player to buy. We bought one because our radio in our car doesn't work sometimes. The car adapter doesn't come with it. You have to buy that separate. This player is much better than paying the price for an ipod if you don't want the bells and whistles like the ipod and just want it for the music.

The player is small and easy to carry in your pocket. It came with earphones so you don't have to buy them like you would with some players. It plays MP3 and WMA audio files, it has an FM radio tuner with 40 preset channels, it's battery life is up to 15 hours of play time with the INTERNAL BATTERY that is rechargable. I emphasize on the internal battery because when we were looking for a good MP3 player for a reasonable price it was hard to find one that had one.

To charge the battery all you have to do is turn it off and plug it into your computer. It's USB and comes with a USB cable. Then it will display SanDisk across the screen and will show the battery charging.

It works really well with Windows Media Player 11. When it's plugged into your computer and you use Windows Media Player it will show the MP3 Player in the side bar of the windows Media player and all you have to do is drag and drop the songs over there and when you are done you will sync it to your MP3 player.

The LCD screen is nice because you can see the artist and the song you are listening to. In the menu you can select to play all and it will shuffle through or you can play it without shuffle. You can also choose artist and it will play the songs you have on there by that artist or of course you can just choose the song.

The controls are easy to use. The radio presets are easy to. Select add to save current frequency or delete to remove one. You can also select auto-scan and will store all available stations.

The radio doesn't work very well and it's hard to get any stations to come in on it though but with 2GB of memory we can store about 350 songs!

It may not have all the bells and whistles like video or that kind of thing but for just wanting an MP3 player for music it's a great buy unless you really want to have the use of the radio would be the only reason you wouldn't want it.
