lost out with the LCD

yeah i bought this earlier this year at B and H for about $220 dollars.I needed a camcorder in this price range and the specs didn't seem bad.Also I had good experience with this brand before.It included in it a manual that also covered other models in the series.these had more features but couldn't locate these.I was relatively satisfied with its performance at first,night vision was no good but it did okay in daytime indoors and much better outdoors.But my satisfaction came to a halt just 2 weeks after owning the thing when the lcd monitor suddenkly became scrambled and then after a couple days blank and after another day it didn't turn on any at all.Now no mishandling took place at any time so the fault is with the cam.I don't live in the States where I bought it and I didn't plan on returning to it before the 3 month warranty was up so now i'm stuck wiyth this lemon
