Good Camera for a Great price
Pros:
Reliable camera, with excellent resolution. Video snips are cute.
Cons:
No software for Mac, to hard for the "beginner", shaky when zooming
The Bottom Line:
I would reccommend it, for anyone who has used a digital camera before. It operates easily enough, and takes quality shots.

I recently purchased this camera for home/work use. Working at a newspaper means that you need to have a reliable camera, which will take quality shots. I believe I got just that. With its easy to decipher options, and variety of image capabilities, I can take just the picture I need, when I need it, whether its at the scene of an accident, or of my two daughters playing indoors.
I wouldnt reccommend this camera for the first time buyer who knows nothing about them. There's too many options, but for someone with slight experience and good common sense this camera is almost a must have for the price.
I found it, brand new on clearance at a Wal-mart in the next town over. For $189 its a great buy.
I do have to say though I am also dissapointed that they do not issue software for Mac with it. I'm unable to look at the software that came with it because of that. And because of the lack of mac software, using the USB connection is a little to complicated to do at work, so I have opted to get a media card reader to hook up with. Its easier and much faster to upload the pictures/clips that way.
With a 128 MB card, and the settings I use, I average about 90 pictures until full.
