Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Player

Did alot of research before choosing sides in the HD movie format. I ended going with the BD-P1400 based on price alone- and I loved it for the first 24 hours. I had to do a firmware upgrade right out of the box- I agree with earlier reviews- burn the upgrade to a CD versus ethernet upgrades. First couple of movies, my family and I were mesmerized. We watched 2 Blu Rays(Rescue Dawn & Harry Potter:THOTP.) In Rescue Dawn, I noticed intermittent hiccups, like on standards dvd players when the laser switches layers. I accepted this as part of the technology. Watching more movies, I started to notice this issue more and more- until watching Big Fish- it hiccups couple of minutes or so. I will be returning it this morning, and buying a 40G PS3 instead- simply because of this issue.
