What kinda junk are we getting from Samsung?

this hdmi dvd player has stopped playing dvd's, will play mp3, and wave discs, but only once. After pulling out first disc, it won't read the next. I must wait until later (cool down) to run another. This player is 6 mo. old, and has been cleaned, opened up and cleaned several times. On screen code says "check disc" I suspect diode, alignment, or memory prob....
