Good Picture But Worrisome Power Problem

I've had this TV for 8 months. The picture quality is impressive. Watching HD channels and movies on this set is amazingly crisp and bright. There's plenty of input jacks for component or hdmi. I chose this over the LNT4665 because I have a room with lots of windows and this set faces them. This model keeps glare to a minimum. Another plus is the swivel stand which allows us to adjust the screen about 30 degrees left or right.

That said, I've had this intermittent problem with the TV shutting itself off and turning back on in the middle of viewing for no apparent reason. It's not an issue with the timer or remote or even the power source. I've been in touch with Samsung support and service techs have come out twice now to troubleshoot. They've replaced various parts. Yet the problem persists. I don't know if I got a bad set of if this is a known bug with the model (which no one is telling me). This is most worrisome considering it's a new set. Definitely I'm thinking twice about purchasing Samsung products in the future. I've always looked on Samsung as one of the top 3 along with Sony and Sharp where tv's are concerned. Now I question their quality.

I'm hoping they can diagnose this before the 1 yr warranty runs out.
