Samsung L73 is a great compact camera for the casual picture-taker

This listing says it is for the L73 camera with 7.4 mega pixel but I think that was a typo because I have the L73 with 7.2 mega pixel. Anyways, this is a sleek black digital camera that is compact enough to slip into a small evening clutch but not as slim as some of the other newer models out there that can fit into your back pocket. But who wants to slip a nice camera into your back pocket and risk losing it anway?

This camera is great for the person that loves to take pictures when they're out on the town. Although this camera takes great pictures during the day, I love the contrast of the darker background with the well light objects and people. The clarity is great with sharp images. I love the smart touch buttons running along the bottom and sides of the LCD screen. Instead of the traditional buttons, this camera has multiple raised buttons where you can choose options available on the screen by simple running your fingers along the multiple buttons. You can also flip through your photos by running your fingers along the button, from left to right. It also gives you great options of choosing different modes when taking pictures. When I don't have another person around to take photos, I love setting the camera on auto timer for 10 seconds and taking the photos of me and my friends. The camera is pretty easy to use, even for a first time digital camera user.

This camera is also very easy when you want to transfer the pictures to your PC. The charger turns into your USB cable by detaching the outlet plugger. You basically just plug the USB cable into your PC, turn your camera on and the camera turns to PC mode and automatically transfers your camera photos into your PC in the "My Pictures" section of your files. This is a perfect camera if you love taking pictures and pasting it on websites or e-mailing them to your friends. I bought this at Walmart for $230.
