Samsung?s 87S and 89S DLP sets with LED lighting have definite advantages over other technologies.

The Bottom Line: Best large 1080p TV for the money. Picture quality, low power consumption, and 3 HDMI 1.3 inputs make this the TV to get if you don't need wall mount.
Review: If you can get one, picture quality is quite good, save for the limited viewing angle (typical for rear projection). Three HDMI inputs is nice, with the slightly pricier 89S series supporting version 1.3 versus HDMI version 1.1 on the 87S series...

Bad Samsung tv or TI LED engine
