Samsung DVD-L100

The Bottom Line: Overall I found this unit to be above average. The best features are of course the big 10" LCD screen. If you buy it.. You will not regret it.
The Samsung Portable DVD-L100 is one of the newest and best portable DVD players on the market. The Unit has the largest screen currently available, 10"! Unlike most other units, this unit has a rear attached Lithium Ion battery that supplies up to 2.5 hrs of viewing time. On average we have only seen just over 2 hours of display time, however the battery is easily interchangeable, only taking a few moments for someone to change out.
It has two headphone jacks enabling two people to watch simultaneously disturbing anyone around them. The sound on the unit is above average and incorporates a phantom surround sound mode that indeed works.
The memory stick feature is very functional but a total waste. If you want to view pictures or listen to music, it would be cheaper to buy a CD player and a computer.
The menu options I found were not too difficult, any 10 year old could figure them out. The credit card remote is great. Just be careful, it is easy to loose, and someone sat on mine.
