Never Again

We had a 32 year old working Maytag washer/dryer set that we decided to trade in for something more modern.  We got the Samsung set.  Sure wish I had my old Maytag dryer back.  Clothes come out more wrinkled than with the Maytag.  It often rolls clothes up in a ball with or without the wrinkle release feature. The sensors on the Samsung are faulty and the clothes frequently come out damp and have to be redone.  The Samsung cannot dry one item only (see manual) as it requires a bigger load to dry - like you notice you have a spot on a blouse you are planning to wear and you toss it into the washer for a quick wash.  Well, when you toss it into the dryer, you'd better have a few other wet items to go along with it.  We have had the repair service out here twice in less than a year - note that we had the Maytag repairman out here twice in 32 years.  This dryer is a certified pain in the neck and not worth buying.  We normally don't buy extended warrenties, but we did on this item and are certainly glad we did.  We expect to see the Samsun repairman frequently.  If you do purchase the Samsung, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!!!  Samsung will not fix it under warrenty unless you produce the receipt!!  We bought this at Lowes, and the local stores do not keep copies of the receipt.
