Samsung SyncMaster™ 710MP 17 inch LCD Monitor

I bought Sync master 710M model for home use purpose. My use of the pc is bare minimum i.e. hardly 1 to 2 hrs on Sunday or on holiday. Within 6 months monitor display gone (message came in rectangle not optimum mode. recommended is
1280x1024 (60Hz))& this rectangle moving on the screen. Setting was correct was correct. The same was repaired by Samsung service center. Again within less than 5 months monitor display gone i.e. after startup it went black. This also with above usage. (Total working hours not more than 100 hrs)
The same problem persists with my friend's monitor (we have bought above model on same date). I think there is technical problem with above model. I recommend not to buy above model
