Quick to set up.. less than 10 minutes, the toner cartridge is 3000 pages not 2000 like the equivalent hp 1020.

I've investigated and you can get a refill kit to add more toner REALLY EASY for about 10 bucks a refill, this will cut costs down to almost nothing.. (google "Samsung ML-2010 Toner Refill Kit and you'll get "ReChargX-113" among a few others others.. pick your favorite)

Toner IS THE REAL COST OF THESE PRINTERS... Otherwise it will cost about $75 for a new cartrige (more than the printer cost me)

Already done refills will be available shortly I'm told, by the standard low cost refillers, dot coms "dura-toner" and "yourcartridges" search them, and compare others as well, I've had good luck that way for all my ready refill needs.

Also .. the printer can be made to print darker if the standard setting isn't dark enough for you, by going into the preferences and selecting darker. (or the printer settings in control panel for a permanent adjustment)

Also there is a Toner Save Button that saves 40% by hitting it.. seems to stay lit until you turn it off.. the toner save setting was more than fine for 90% of all printing needs.. it didn't look like typical draft mode.. was much better.

I've only printed on standard letter paper.. and it is so fast it flies out of there like a Bazooka launched it.

This printer is usually cheapest at the dots "newegg" and "buy" but try all over.

This is the same printer as the Dell 1100.. but this one sells for less.. $50 to $75 total price after rebate... and has LIFETIME TOLL FREE TECH SUPPORT from Samsung.. Dell only 90 days.

Also.. Samsung provides a paper tray cover to keep dust off the paper.. the Dell version is exposed.
