Excellent Convenience and performance

by   eiapoce ,  Jun 19, 2007
Pros: cheap - good construction - no paper jams - fast
Cons: no usb cable - strange cartridge
The Bottom Line: Of course I recomend this. Cheaper than HP and refillable toner (to be seen how easy...)
Review: I got this printer as a replacement for the ML-1250 I previously owned. The previous printer had some issues with the auto feeder and I needed some more reliability I got it on “offer” in a Mall. I see that the “offer” I got is not ...

An excellent budget laser printer

by   userleif ,  Mar 17, 2007
Pros: Attractive, cheap, fast, good quality output.
Cons: No true duplex, USB cable not supplied.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended for the home user, or small office.
Review: For years I'd been using an ink jet printer to produce letters, and other text output. But the printer takes an age to print each page, the ink costs a fortune and the ink smears if it comes into contact with moisture. And it was forever suffering ...

For $50, seems to work well enough

by   sirwired ,  Dec 26, 2005
Pros: Small, cheap, fast.
Cons: A little noisy.
The Bottom Line: For $50, it works pretty darn well.
Review: This printer does more-or-less exactly what I bought it for: print text quickly and cheaply. I'm not sure there is much else to say about it. A few notes: It comes with a pretty puny "starter cartridge", which is only good for 1,000-ish pages. ...

Samsung 2010

by   jnip18 ,  Mar 19, 2007
Pros: QUICK printing, easy setup
Cons: Only black ink, a little noisey
The Bottom Line: Great printer I would recommend to everyone.
Review: I have found that buying anything by your needs. I bought this printer because I needed something cheap, reliable, and ink that I could print out many copies and it not run out after 100 prints. I am a swim coach during the summer and needed to put up ...

Still happy 1.5 years later

by   indytroglodyte ,  Nov 8, 2007
Pros: Good quality, Great price, small footprint, Good page yield per cartridge.
Cons: A little noisy at first. Hard to clear jams (which has only happened once).
The Bottom Line: BUY IT! If you want a reliable medium volume good quality laser printer and don't want to break the bank, this is the one to get!
Review: When my wife and I started our web development business we were on quite a shoestring budget. I was looking for a laser printer since ink jet printers suck money out of your wallet faster than kids do, given the price and page yield of ink jet ...

The Little Printer That Could

by   printerman ,  Dec 12, 2005
Pros: SUPER Fast.. Easy to Set Up... Compact, Well Made, 3K toner
Cons: a touch loud at start up but not a problem at all.
The Bottom Line: I'd buy this in a heart beat.. it's just so good a value at 50 to 75 bucks... or even at the non rebate cost of $120
Review: Quick to set up.. less than 10 minutes, the toner cartridge is 3000 pages not 2000 like the equivalent hp 1020. I've investigated and you can get a refill kit to add more toner REALLY EASY for about 10 bucks a refill, this will cut costs down to ...

Great Samsung Product

by   saturnpc ,  Apr 8, 2006
Pros: Short foot print, speed and quality
Cons: Inability to print dual-sided in one pass.
The Bottom Line: Recommended due to it small size, it speed and the quality as it prints, even on toner saver mode.
Review: I bought this printer as a replacement to a Lexmark Z52 and an Oki 4W; Now this printer is in conjunction with a Epson C64 which will be replaced for a R300 but that is another review. As I was writing, I bought it to print mostly B&W and inkjet was too ...

Excellent little personal laser printer

by   partipilo ,  Aug 26, 2006
Pros: The lowest cost, quality laser printer you can buy.
Cons: Extremely thin paper may draw more then one page at a time
The Bottom Line: Extra crisp, sharp lettering, and extremely fast performance, all with a very small footprint, and very low noise.
Review: I purchased this printer at Office Depot for approximately $50 after rebate. Without rebate, the printer retailed for $120 before taxes. I actually forgot to send in the rebate, and it expired. Regardless, I still feel like I have gotten the better ...

Great Deal!

by   wfonviel ,  Dec 20, 2006
Pros: Cheap but good. A great value. Easy and quick set-up.
Cons: Takes a little while for the first print but not too bad.
Review: I paid $29 at a Staples sale. Unfortunately, the limit was one to a customer. I was eager to buy more figuring that at this price, what did I have to lose? The printer is compact, taking up little room on the desk and simple in operation and set up. ...

Cheap, Fast, Great Output

by   bblboy54 ,  Jun 30, 2008
Pros: fast, inexpensive, great output, compatible, easy
Cons: None that I can think of.
Review: I have owned one of these printers for well over a year and I am STILL impressed by it. It's very compatible (Linux, OSX, Windows, etc), easy to set up, and it's rather small for a laser so it can fit almost anywhere. The small size doesn't limit it ...
