Five Removable Plates - The Best Foreman Grill Yet!

by   Staceys1 ,  Mar 29, 2006
Pros: Cook meats, waffles, pancakes and more; removable plates for cleaning.
Cons: No timer.
The Bottom Line: With the George Foreman G5 grill you can cook just about anything - and cleanup is a breeze.
Review: Over the years we have had a number of George Foreman grills, all of which we used a few times a week, until they were worn out. A few months ago, the Foreman grill that we were using began taking longer and longer to heat up, and did not seem to get as ...

George Foreman G5 Indoor Grill

by   opalbabe ,  Aug 8, 2008
Pros: Larger grill surface. 5 removable & dishwasher safe plates.
Cons: I'd love to see a thermostat control by numbered degrees.
The Bottom Line: With 5 removable dishwasher safe plates, along with temperature control, this is by far a huge upgrade from the old grill.
Review: George Foreman G5 Indoor Grill Being a family of 5 with growing children, I found a need to upgrade our old George Foreman grill to this newer larger sized model. I wasn’t hesitant at all because I knew I would be getting a quality ...

Yes. The George Foreman G5 is Worth Every Cent.

by   CyndiA ,  Jan 19, 2008
Pros: grill plates lift out for easy cleaning, versatile, low fat cooking when tilted
Cons: a little messy - use Pam spray - wipe with paper towel before washing
The Bottom Line: I wasn't going to get on the George Foreman bandwagon, but I did. And this model is the max.
Review: The George Foreman G5 is definitely a step up from the old George Foreman grills. Though I really like my small Foreman with a bun warmer, the new George Foreman with lift out grill plates is a huge step up. When I got my mini George Foreman grill, I’ ...

George Foreman G5: Someone Listened

by   immac ,  Aug 18, 2006
Pros: Cooks just about everything just right, especially pork chops
Cons: May be too small for special occasions.
The Bottom Line: This a greatly improved version of George Foreman's lean, mean, fat reducing grilling machine.
Review: Although our second George Foreman grill cost 30% more than our original, the benefits over the old model are well worth the difference. You can read my clever review of our last grilleration titled, "You Bought a What?" under Salton Large Family ...

Pros: ease of clean up, cooking quality, numerous cooking options
Cons: no timer
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend because of its ease of cleaning and good cooking results.
Review: I purchased this grill on sale for $65.00. Prior to purchase, I was using a single burger size Foreman. I didn’t use it that much because it took so long to make a meal because by the time even the second burger was done, the first one was cold. ...

The BEST George Foreman Grill for less than $100!!

by   branandnessasm ,  Feb 21, 2007
Pros: Price (at BJs), Features, Durability, Brand Name, Easy Clean-Up
Cons: None, this product is wonderful!
The Bottom Line: If you are going to purchase a George Foreman Grill, this is a wonderful investment. Many features at a great price!
Review: This grill is wonderful! I researched and found that the best price was at my local BJ's wholesale club. It was $95 plus tax. I've had a "regular" George Foreman grill for almost 8 years. It was time for a new one, as the old was showing wear. I ...

by   trillium ,  Jan 13, 2007
Pros: Removable plates. Easy to clean. Well worth the expense.
Cons: Odd shape - has its own special place on my countertop
The Bottom Line: If you like the culinary experience of grilled food but dont have or cant have a grill this is definately the way to go.
Review: Recently acquired the G5 from Amazon (since believe it or not every store local to me was sold out from the holiday season, with no "restock" date). Meal one - grilled ham and cheese sandwiches - very tasty Meal two - reheated premade frozen ...

The Bottom Line: Great Product. Easy to use and clean. Replaced extra appliances in the kitchen.
Review: When I saw a commercial for this I thought it was pretty cool. So, when my mom asked what my husband wanted for Christmas I told her this grill. We went shopping for it and found it on sale for $119. The sticker said retail was $159. It was a little ...

by   msmarykate ,  Jul 15, 2006
Pros: Easy to clean. Easy to use. Even toasting/browning.

The Bottom Line: Love this grill! So easy to clean and has worked *exactly* as it claims!
Review: This grill is amazing. The first thing I made for my husband and I was ciabatta sandwiches. First I marinated chicken and then grilled it. Then I used fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato and put the chicken on the ciabatta roll. Put them both in the grill on ...
