Not a good choice,

My daughter received this camera as a Christmas Present.

This is a simple, easy to use camera. It is fine for a 4 year old.

The camera has a built in automatic flash, fixed focus, an LCD viewfinder, and a USB port.

We put in the batteries and showed the daughter how to use it.

It worked for a little while then stopped working. We couldn't power it down. After a battery change, it worked. A while later same problem....

When we removed batteries all the memory, thus the pictures, were gone!


We put it away until recently. I installed the software and usb drivers. The camera worked well this time, with new batteries, of course.

The software install failed the first time. It was very slow. Fortunately, it worked. The drivers worked and allowed importing pictures easily.

Picture quality was pretty bad. My daughter was excited and liked them though. A 4 year old would be happy, but the adult having to deal with this won't.


The camera will function as a webcam. Didn't try it. Why? For a 4 year old?

The daughter likes the camera, but then she is 4.

The lack of memory retention after removing batteries is a serious drawback... no batteries, no pictures.

All in all, it is ok for a 4 year old who has no clue. Still, if on a trip and you can't upload pictures and the batteries go dead, you are out of luck.

I wouldn't buy one. Very poor design.
