MechWarrior Madness - excellent joystick!

I'm an avid Mechwarrior fan and play on average, 5 hours a night. Have owned this controller since they first came out (like 6 months ago) and have been overall pleased. If you like to be able to configure button assignments and have a function for every finger on your hands, this is it. (You can even have 6 functions per finger if you want!). Owned a couple other joysticks in the past and they don't even come close to this one.

Only drawbacks are that the oil on the metal shaft (near the base) goes away after some use (a lot of use, actually!) and needs to be oiled now and then. Didn't know what the problem was initially (was difficult to move around) but once I oiled it, worked as good as new again. The other drawback is static - this thing is REALLY sensitive. I've moved my foot only 6 inches across the carpet and touched a metal part of the joystick and knocked it out - the device sort of reboots itself and you have to usually unplug it and plug it back in again. Will lose the profile you're using if it happens so you have to pause the game you're using and set it to the profile you want after plugging it back in again. But seems to come back ok - have really shocked it hard a few times too.

Small potatoes though - this joystick rocks.... and isn't just for flight sims! Saitek gets an A+ on this one... (and my thanks) for making an excellent product.
