Safety 1st Oven Front Lock

     I have a 2 year old son that enjoys opening and closing anything he can get his hands on and the oven is his favorite.

     I was in Babies R' Us and had noticed the SAFTText copying disabled SAFETY 1ST OVEN FRONT LOCK for $4.29 and decided to give it a try.

     The lock itself reminds me of a door hinge.   It is white and has an adhesive that you apply to the top side of the stove just above the oven.   The lock part flips over the side and locks into place holding the oven door closed.   

     To open the lock, move the latch on the spring towards the right side (on mine it is to the right) and flip up the side.

     I have found that the SAFETY 1ST OVEN FRONT LOCK works very well, however, after constant pulling from my son the adhesive has worn out and come off.   Unfortunately there are no extra adhesives that come with it and from being pulled of the one that comes with it has become weak.

     While in its prime the SAFETY 1ST OVEN FRONT LOCK had worked wonderfully (3 months before getting worn by my son) I felt that the $4.29 was well spent and purchased another one to replace the origional one.
