The problem is that the opening is quite small. Unless you have very small fingers and/or a large, easy to grip locking device on your door knob, you may very well have to remove the Safety First Clear Grip Door Knob Cover to accomplish this task.

Overall, Safety 1st Clear Grip Door Knob Covers are a very good product and they are very useful in the prevention of wandering toddler syndrome. They are also very economical, with a two- pack selling for only about $2.50. They aren’t necessarily the most attractive safety device, but they get the job done, protecting little children from themselves and lending a helping hand to parents who already have their hands full.
