Author's Review
I got this stroller from an Aunt in Canada, and I had not registered for it. I am VERY glad she got it for me! It has been in constant use since early 2005. The seat pad is removable and easily cleaned. The stroller moves almost effortlessly, especially on pavement. We also use it to go hiking, and it is VERY comfortable to push. We have two babies and a dog, and the one who pushes the Safari Jogger ALSO walks the dog. That is how easy it is to control and maneuver this stroller.
The stroller reclines ALLLL the way, and both of my kids have fallen asleep in it many times. When my first was born, I set the stroller up inside and used it in my house for two months! I pushed it around and around, and my newborn would fall asleep in an instant. The sunshade does NOT come down all the way, but if you unsnap the shade from the back, you can push it ALL the way down to the seat. This looks strange, but it will block sun from your sleeping baby and still allow plenty of airflow. I have done this on many walks.
The basket underneath is VERY large, big enough to hold lunch for all 4 of us when we go hiking. There is a pocket on the sunshade, but it does not hold much. The handle is fully adjustable and comfy, and my husband who is 6'4" can push the stroller comfortably.
I am a very big fan of this stroller. For about a year, I had NO idea that you could fold the stroller. I still loved it! (Just to clarify, the stroller does have a one-hand-fold feature, I just didn't know about it). Thanks for making a quality jogger!
