There's a reason it's cheap

Bought two of these from Surplus Computers (great store, BTW)
Neither one of them worked, although the variety of strange things they did to my computer was interesting. Everything from extreme slowdowns (I'm talking literally several minutes for the machine to respond) to causing programs to lock (Picasa locked every time, others just did not respond) to completely locking my computer. When my computer did finally respond (the times it did not lock) I got an I/O device error.
My advice, don't buy this one.
