Eye-candy: A monitor worth the money

The Bottom Line: I highly recommend this monitor to anyone in the market for a quality FP LCD monitor. The price is excellent, and SVA-USA evidently believes in its product--thus the 3-year warranty.

Bigger than some, but sharp image and great color

The Bottom Line: Buy it, if you don't mind that you can't adjust the tilt. It won't cost you what I paid for it.
Review: This monitor model is a few years old now, and I've had mine for a couple years. It looks a little "old" because the border around the screen itself is much wider than on new models of comparable price, and you can get LCDs with a smaller footprint...

The Bottom Line: I think it's still a great monitor. I just got made cause it let me down so quickly. I think a monitor should at least last two years or more.
Review: After the One year warranty was up, One year one month to be exact. I came home from work and the monitor was on stand by and I turned my computer on, the monitor started to come on then it went off.

The Bottom Line: It's hard to believe that out of 40 of these monitors sold at this store, I got 2 bad ones back to back.
Review: I got this monitor at office Depot. The local store had an in store special of $299 and I had a $25 off coupon, so I figured I had a good deal going, a 17" LCD monitor for $275. Brought it home, plugged it in, noticed several dead pixels right off...

NO Support, 800x600 timing issues with ATI

The Bottom Line: Don't buy this or any SVA product. They don't support their products, and the products are sub-par.
Review: This monitor is a piece of garbage. My wife picked one up for me (same $229 deal nov 2003)and it has caused me the most headaches of any monitor I have owned. Here is a list of reasons why you should not buy this monitor.

The way sva measures is a huge plus because a 17" is more like a 19".
