Overall Rating: 3/5 stars

Author's Review

SRS some feel it's a NFS underground knock off and I don't really see it like that if anything it's more of a gran turismo knock off.

Me personally like the game because of the fact that they use real parts (Bodykits and spoliers) and their aren't any packages to buy (me personally thought that car packages were stupid and for posers) some people won't like having to choose which turbo they want and if the digital 7 ignition is worth it but TS for them.

The racing is solid using racing and drfting together but drifting with a skyline isn't that easy but they have the RX-7's to watch your back there drifting in this game will take time to get down.

Lets start talking about career mode now, career modedoesn't have to much of a storyline but that's ok in my book when you start out you get to use a skyline but this is temporary the skyline handles extremly well and you should have no problem winning the race after the race you get about 60K or close to that but you have to give half to the guy who let you use the car. Now your on you own, 30K in your pocket time to get your own car and no you won't be getting a skyline yet you have the Volkswagon golf GTi 2.5 unlocked the Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS some Toyota Celica's and a couple Eclipse's to get you started choose which you'd like then if I was you I would work on the accellerration first but you need 1K for ante in you first tourney. AS you progress more cars will be unlocked along with more races when you get to the RX-7's you learn why those cars are expensive a little tip is to buy the second impreza not the 2.5 RS it's the best 20K you'll pay for fast and easy to drift with. Now on the car modifications (engine, body, vinyl) like I said there are no packages so hopefully you know your way around a car if not don't cry they have a diagnostic graph next to the car so you know what part is the best but don't think you know everything about a car now most stuff isn't a 100% accurate but it's close. All parts are liscensed so every part is real including bodykits but with most cars their is only one a downside another down is that carbon fiber spoliers will slow down the cars 0-60 by about .1 but the worst thing is the some of the bodykits have to change the exhaust tip and that changes the whole system out for a slower car. There are two option for your cars style street and drag both have up and downsides. Street sacrafices speed for handling while drag is handling for speed when you go to buy parts read the extra info if your curious.

An unnecessary part of the game is getting a girlfreind (which is a compilation of adult film stars and car models).

There are a few cars you must unlock outside of career mode (2004 Nissan Skyline V-Spec Nur, a Turino, and a RX-7 Bathrust) you unlock these by completing the ironman challenges.

In the end I liked the game and thats what to expect.
