Love the sensor!

by   bunskerdoo ,  Jan 11, 2007
Pros: Cleans extremely well, low maintenance, quiet, easy to push
Cons: Cord started smoking at the extension cord. We just replaced it with a longer cord.
Review: Our golf course restaurant has gone through 4 vacuums (Orek, dirt devil, amway and shark) in less than a year. The Sensor was the best purchase ever. We've had this one for over a year and have only gone through 4 bags. Picks up dirt, food, grass with ...

Pros: Sensor feature utilizes brushes, reducing cost and excess carpet wear.
Cons: Generally it only comes with a 40 foot cord.
Review: I've used Windsor Sensor vacuums for years and find them to be well built, easy to use and repair, and a great value for the money. I have in use almost 200 Sensor units in service and know other janitorial businesses in the area that prefer the Windsor ...

The Best Vacuum for a Commercial Enviroment

by   tdunlevyolp ,  Feb 17, 2007
Pros: very quiet, agile, and versitle
Cons: None Yet
Review: Our janitor loves the Windsor! Our old vacuum was an Eureka Maxima Bagless witch would overheat everytime we used it because of it being a household vacuum cleaner. The windsor is made for every day use and tough jobs. Because of the high traffic areas ...

Not cheap

by   daoldfart ,  May 17, 2005
Pros: Nimble and reliable
Cons: the tab holding the wand rod to the body needs to be reinforced
Review: The School system I work for uses the S12 and these have proven to be lightweight, agile, and rugged. These machines get 30+hr's of use every week, month after month. As soon as the cords wear out we replace them with 100' cords. Replacement of the brush ...

Great for Commercial/Not Residential

by   mrsdy86 ,  Apr 25, 2007
Pros: Works great on low pile, or hardwood surfaces. Attachments are very convenient.
Cons: Not great on longer pile. Bags not good for fine dust ex. soot
The Bottom Line: Would really recommend for commercial use for hardwood and low pile carpets. Works like a dream. Look for something different for Home/Residential.
Review: This vacuum may work wonders for commercial. Not so wonderful in my residential home. I have used this vacuum for professional cleaning for nearly 4 years. It works great there. When I needed to replace my personal cleaner, I spent the extra and ...
