Oversold capabilities

I have had my 3500 for a year and the gears have stripped. The blades do not work at all.
It worked fine for one or two sheets at a time but bogged down with more. May times I had to put it in reverse to on jam it. Singles go fast and it cuts them into small pieces not readable by any means. Cutting the paper creates alot of static and if you pour out the basket, go to the dumpster, cause those tiny pieces fly all over.

I needed a secure way to destroy reports and this did it.
cross cut is the best although a simpler cutter may have had less problems. (maybe)

Papers always need to be squarely inserted or they fold up and can jam. The top is heavy and cumbersome to remove, if the basket tips you've got a mess. Replacement is not to hard but the safety switch must be aligned with the basket to operate.
