Pros: Easier and less tedious than ironing; Excellent steam output
Cons: Its large size makes it more challenging to store than an iron
The Bottom Line: Great alternative for those who find ironing difficult and/or loathsome
Review: I decided to buy my Rowenta Garment Steamer because I abhor ironing and had been using a cheap, little travel steamer for some time with pretty good success, but with great inconvenience as it only holds a couple of tablespoons of water and needs constant ...

Pros: A great alternative to ironing!
Cons: None that I can think of!
Review: I purchased this over the weekend after looking at my summer wardrobe knowing that I had to either pull out the iron or take most of my wardrobe to the dry cleaners to press. My co-worker has a Rowenta garment steamer and raves about it so using some ...

Pros: Works great when you need to get a ton of clothes ready.
Cons: Drying the unit out after using.
Review: I bought this product because I loathed the idea of standing by an ironing board for hours to prepare for our cruise. Yes, Mom brought me up by the way of the iron and I can't escape it! It works very well if you're willing to press a ton of clothes. ...

Pros: Heats up quickly; easy to assemble; handy on/off switch
Cons: Doesn't do a complete job; hassle to empty water
The Bottom Line: I think I'll stick to the old fashioned iron.
Review: I require the use of an iron often as I iron my own work dress shirts. My wife bought me a steamer for Xmas and I must say I was pretty excited to receive such a thoughtful gift. I was excited to try it out as I had a backlog of workshirts so after ...

Pros: It's easy to set up and heats up quickly.
Cons: Doesn't get the wrinkles out. Hard to dry out the machine after use.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it. Ironing removes wrinkles better and clean up is easier.
Review: I bought the Rowenta Steamer one month ago because I don't like to iron, and a friend mentioned that she had a steamer and she prefers it over ironing (note: my friend's is not the Rowenta; it is a $300 commercial steamer). After using the Rowenta ...
