Fun for Everyone!

This oddly addicting game is really fun! Build your own roller coasters and other rides, outfit your amusement park with shops and food stands, and then hire staff to run the show!

Watching your ride run, as if you are on it, is a nice touch. I also like how you can click on a particular simulated customer and see what they are thinking...if you continue to click on them, they will double over and laugh, asking you to stop tickling them. Nice touch.Another unique touch is how you can insert a photo you have on the computer onto a billboard for the customers to look at(I used a Gilligan photo at the entrance to my shipwreck thrill ride area.)

The program is relatively easy to install and to upgrade as well. The interface is fairly self explanatory, but some features are awkward. For instance, once you install a shop, restroom, or a food booth, you must then open it before the customers will use it. Once you learn this trick, it is simple to accomplish. Also, the program allows you to define a workers territory (for instance, where does a janitor clean?), but I still haven't figured out how to do that. So I just pick them up and plop them down in the area that needs to be cleaned.

Not only have I enjoyed the game, but my 12 year old daughter and 13 year old son do, too. The ride action is enough to keep the boy entertained, and the my daughter likes to see how the customers interact (let's put them both in an area and see what they do!)

This is a nice, family-friendly, non-violent game that encourages planning and thoughtfulness to be successful. We love it!
