Extremely hot on the outside-handles both fell apart

Pros: Works well. Reliable. Easy to use.

Cons: Gets extremely hot to touch. Handles fell off both sides in pieces.Not made well.

Works good. Gets extremely hot to touch. Don't put near anything that may stick to it. Problem with the handles. Slowly pieces starting falling off. Now both handles are almost completely gone. Don't know if I should look to replace handles or retire it. Got as a Christmas gift in December 2004.
