Full Review I needed a smaller crockpot, the one I had been using was way too big for the two of us, it was perfect if we were having company or if I wanted to cook a roast, but I really needed something smaller for everyday recipes.
I was browsing the Black Friday ads last November when I saw this crockpot advertised for $5, the size was perfect for us and so was the price. I picked it up while I was out that day and ended up using it the very next night. Its perfect for meatballs and sauce, or for a beef stew. and so simple, you just throw it the ingredients in, plug it in, turn it on and forget about it for about 4 hours and your dinner is done. I love getting up in the morning and throwing chili ingredients in it and turning it on low, when I get home from work my house smells like I've been slaving over the stove all day, its perfect.
This crockpot has a 1.5 quart capacity, so it is small but that makes it easy for quick meals and cleaning it is a breeze, I put the whole thing in the sink, fill it up with soapy water and scrub it out. I love the simplicity of this crockpot. I've also made tons of soups in it, from mixes and from scratch.
The only thing I've noticed about this crock pot that I don't like is that the outside of it tends to get hot if you're cooking something on high, so I wouldn't leave it unattended on high, but on low its fine.
Also, the crockpot is all one piece, the inside doesn't come out for easy cleaning, but it is easy to clean either way.
I'd recommend this crockpot to just about anyone. The price is excellent, I got it on sale for $5 and the regular price was $12.99. Its perfect for couples and small families, easy to use and clean and perfect for quick nutritious meals.
