I wish I Hadn't returned to Blue Lagoon

I LOVED the Blue Lagoon. I HATED Return to Blue Lagoon. I felt totally cheated when I went to see this movie and the opening sequence is NOTHING like the first movie ended! In the first BL, Richard's father finds them and they are NOT dead. In this one, some other ship finds them and R & E are dead, but Paddy is still alive and taken in by a lady who has a young daughter, who eventually turns into Paddy's love interest when they grow up. From this point on, I hated it. It's been years since I seen it but the one stupid thing that stands out is that grown-up Paddy was wearing some kind of stupid leather shoe with his loin cloth. Oh, that's a fashion statement. Wonder if Tarzan knows about that one.

I really think they could've done better with this one. Even if they couldn't get Brooke Shields and Chris Atkins to reprise their roles -- LOL -- they could've used other actors for the characters. That is my major gripe for this movie.

This is a good group movie so you can sit and make fun of it.
