The latest endeavor from Sevren Ni-Arb and Raive Yarx is amazing. This album is a compilation of x-marks "hits." The depth and layers in each of the songs is quite complex. Combine these catchy tunes with vocoderized voices on some and beautiful female voices on others makes for an awesome album. I have lent this album to many people who had never heard of them and they absolutely love it. Highlights include "Facer," "10 miles," "Maximum Pace," and the reworked "Monomaniac."
"Sweephands" is the closing track and has an ethereal feel to it. All in all, this album is definitely worth the price. These guys were way ahead of their time, as the older songs sound just as good as the new ones.
Also recommended is Meshwork, another amazing album by these techno-artists.
