Reminisce Magazine is a magazine that brings back the good times, just like the cover title states. It 's jammed packed with memories and photos sent in by readers. Reiman Publications puts this magazine out six times a year and now they have one called Reminisce Plus that will come in between your issues of Reminisce.

This magazine has 24 departments covering everything from " I know...I was there " memories about a certain event or time going way back to the early 1900's. To "Looking Ahead at Looking Back " which is a description on the next issue of Reminisce.

There are "Old Fashioned Recipes, you'll find four every issue. And there is a "Cooking for Two " recipe section also.

There are articles like "As You Were " dealing with the military, WWI, WWII, and the Korean War. They have brought tears to my eyes on numerous occasions. Readers also will mention they are trying to find someone from their past.

Pictures of readers meeting celebrities, involved in the fad or craze that was popular at that time. Wedding pictures from the turn of the century to the sixties. God, those styles were actually cool at the time,
weren't they ?----:)

I love to see the Ads from the past for food, clothing and toys to name a few. I remember them from my childhood and they bring back a flood of fond memories of times gone by.

They have a contest in every issue called Hatties Hatpin Hunt. You have to locate where they hid Hatties Hatpin in one of the pages. When you find it , send in a postcard stating where and every correct answer is put together and they pick 50 winners . The prize is different each month.

A nice feature is called "Can You Give Me A Helping Hand " where readers ask if someone knows where to get a particular item from the past or just an answer to a question.


Pictures are in black and white and color. You'll be amazed at how old some of the pictures are that readers send in. But overall this magazine is one of a kind. My Dad is 81 and loves it. He said it brings him such wonderful memories of an era gone by, particularly of when he was in WWII. And when he and my Mom were dating.

It's so nice to go back when things seemed so simple. And sharing some heartwarming moments from everyone's past.

I get Reminisce for $14.98 a year in subscription. And I always find myself looking eagerly for my next issue. I think you'll like it because it's a magazine that will bring a smile or tear of happiness to your face upon reading one of their articles.
