Generic Shaver

Have owned the R950 for a year now. Can be almost blade close when new, but the cutting elements seem to deteriorate within 90 days. Bought the shaver new for about $40 at a national chain, but the replacement elements are about $30 ($32.50 with sales tax today). If I go more than 120 days without changing the cutting elements, it rubs my neck raw and ingrown hair becomes a problem. Figure on changing the cutters and heads every 90 days and you'll have a good, average electric shave.

That's $.36/day plus the electricity. Still cheaper than many blades.

I think in the near future I'll spend $100 for a really good razor and take this average one with me when I travel.
I wouldn't worry if I lost it now, for that matter.
