Kind of disappointing compared to manual razor.
Pros:
Easy to use and fast.
Cons:
Does not shave closely, may irritate skin.
The Bottom Line:
This one was disappointing. There just HAS to be a better electric shaver out there; if not, stick to a razor.

Author's Review
Let me start by saying that this is my first electric shaver and I've previously always used the nicer blade-type shavers like the Mach 3, Shick Quattro, and now Fusion. I've always "upgraded" as the new models came out and was always impressed at the newer one.
Well, one day I came up on this Remington Titanium R1000 on clearance and I figured that at $2.50-3.00 per blade, it wouldn't take long for this electric shaver to pay for itself, so I took the plunge.
The first couple of times I used it, it didn't seem to shave very closely and irritated my skin like crazy, so I did a little research and got some electric shaver "prewash" and use the shaver on the "sensitive" setting now. This has taken care of the irritation, but it still doesn't shave very closely...of course I'm comparing to my manual Fusion blade. It seems to shave "okay" on the face area, but on a concave surface (i.e. neck) it barely works at all and there's clearly stubble left over.
The good news is, it shaves very quickly and is convenient and the battery seems like it lasts forever. I learned that if you don't keep the shaver in its base, the cleaning fluid evaporates VERY quickly and if you forget about it for a few days (i.e. if you travel), you come home to an empty base.
So, perspective, as a manual razor user, I did not like this product; but it's possible that I just don't like electric razors. Because I already have it, I only use it for quick shaves if I don't care much about what I look like...otherwise the ol' Gillette Fusion comes out most of the time.
