Terrible! Not for women at all!
Pros:
sharp blades work well on long hair
Cons:
doesn't cut short hair
The Bottom Line:
This product leaves hair so long that you have to shave afterwards, and isn't that defeating the whole point of using a trimmer?

Author's Review
I bought the Remington BKT-1000 Hair Trimmer at Walmart this past summer hoping to get a nice, smooth bikini shave. I have had a smaller bikini trimmer in the past, so I knew not to expect super smooth skin from a trimmer. I could not find one like my old one, so I started looking for another one. I found this product for about ten dollars and decided to try it.
I bought this trimmer because I was sick of ingrown hair and rash from razors. I was hoping to avoid the irritation that comes with shaving and the pain that comes with waxing.
The first time I tried it, I nearly screamed. This product left me bleeding. The product would not even remove my hair, which was about one half inch long, without removing the comb. When I did this, it cut the hair shorter but did not look any better than when I had started. By the time I was through, I was bleeding! Not to mention, I still had to shave after using it because there was still so much hair left!
The trimmer leaves stubble that I would normally look down and see when I have not shaved for three or four days.
This trimmer is obviously made for long hair, so I do not understand how it can be marketed toward women. The product itself is not that bad, but it is marked to women who I am quite certain do not have long enough hair for this product. It should be for men. I gave it to my boyfriend, who now uses it to trim his beard.
