Maybe not so Reliable Iron

Hello everyone this is my review after 1 month of use this iron has proven itself in the battlefield. The best steam that I have seen in ages. BUT! as of a couple of days ago I was ironing and some thick red liquid starting coming out of the holes of the iron. Kind of like a “stigmata.” Anyways I immediately took video and sent it to the manufacture. They responded quickly (to my surprise.) The next day I got a call from a "Tech" and we went over what was going on. He was trying to play that oh you should not do this or that and when the iron is on the steamer part should be off then turned on when you are going to iron. Enough of this BS I said. He contradicted himself twice first he said it was white scaly stuff then red. Then he said use tap water. He just gave me the run around. In the end I was disappointed with the iron because if I pay $129.00 for an iron I want it to work almost perfect. Maybe they should try to do more R&D on this iron. When the iron worked it worked great. Maybe it was the water maybe it was the iron. This might happen to other people so I would not recommend this iron. If it happened once it will happen again. Unless you want to waist $129 bucks then go for it. Oh and get this the tech said just let it run and clean it. I should not have to clean anything. Stick with the Wal-Mart Shark no drip. Or some Black and Decker brand. Shoot my wife's Sunbeam worked better than this one. I did the research and found nothing but good reviews this is why I jumped on it and bought it. There was also no abuse of any kind. You think that I would spend that amount of money on an iron and not take care of it. Nope this iron was babied. A prime example of you pay for what you get gone wrong. You might as well get the "Pressa Bella" Ha Ha. Well in the end you decide. Thanks
