Heavy and tough to maneuver

I was very excited to get this stroller when we found out we were expecting a second child. The narrow profile and large wheels seemed perfect for getting around New York City. Unfortunately, we have been very disappointed in this stroller. First, it is much heavier than you would expect. The specifications on the single stroller (without the extra seat) say that it weighs 21 pounds, but ours weighs 27 pounds without the extra seat or the bar that goes across the front. It is MUCH heavier than the Mountain Buggy we replaced. It also doesn't turn well, nor go straight well, requiring one to use both hands with significant force at all times. We've had the swivel wheel checked out, had the tires checked at a bike shop, etc., but to no avail. The extra seat also has a bar across the top that hits our daughter's head. You should definitely test drive this stroller (with your child in it) before buying it.
