Pros: Addictive, Great Guitar Controller, Cool Unlockables, Amazing Music, fun for everyone
Cons: Can become too addictive, and I wish there were more songs
The Bottom Line: Best rhythm game on the market. Every person should own one, no matter what. Need that money for rent? No you need rock out time!!
Review: Ever want to become a rock star? Dream of fame and fortune? Do you want millions of fans to scream your name? Now you can become a Guitar Hero from your own living room. Your goal is to become the greatest rocker ever. You must play gigs, earn new ...

Pros: Fun, Educational, Great Soundtrack
Cons: Needs more Songs, Hard and Expert are Tough to Play
The Bottom Line: Guitar Hero is a very fun and involving game that will keep you rocking for a long time!
Review: I recently had a chance to play Guitar Hero. I had been hearing a lot of good things about it from a lot of my friends and I am glad that I finally got the chance to play this game. Now I see what everyone has been raving about. First let me just say ...

Pros: 47 total songs x 4 difficulty modes = lots of replay value
Cons: Multiplayer mode isn't quite as exciting as it could be.
The Bottom Line: If you're a guitar hero, or just always wished you could be, this is the game for you.
Review: To put it succinctly, Guitar Hero is the greatest rhythm game ever created. Not just for the PS2, but any game console period. Like most rhythm games, the concept behind Guitar Hero is that the player must hit notes, corresponding to buttons on the ...

Pros: Extremely fun
A lot of difficulties Great fun for people who don't play games. Cons: Not the original songs
Graphics could be better. The Bottom Line: The bottom line? This is the best music game ever made. Buy it.
Review: Guitar Hero is one of those games by an almost unknown developer and becomes a huge hit. Guitar Hero was developed by guitar players for people who don't necessarily need to play the guitar and is my personal favorite music game of all time. ...

Pros: Easy learning curve, popular rock tunes, a nice assortment of unlockables.
Cons: More expensive than average, hand cramps early on, 'necessary' high volume disturbs sleeping kids.
The Bottom Line: A fresh game that appeals to gamers and music lovers equally. Worth the $75 to $85.
Review: From the moment I saw this game reviewed on GameSpot, it quickly made my priority list for Christmas. The controller is a 30 inch plastic guitar (A Gibson GS style if you must know) complete with 5 color coded buttons, a strumming bar, whammy bar, and 2 ...

Pros: You get to be a guitar god ala Clapton, Stevie Ray, Blackmore or Hendrix!
Cons: Even more songs would have been cooler!
The Bottom Line: You get to be a guitar god. The guitar controller sets it apart and is easy to learn, fun to master. The songs are great!
Review: Who hasn't done air guitar in the privacy of their own home at one point or another? Guitar Hero is the coolest new game out for Play Station 2. Basic DescriptionThis game comes with the game itself and what makes it so special is the ...

Pros: fun, multiplayer mode, good learning curve, game design, music, social aspects, all around GREAT!
Cons: difficulty with hammer-on/pull-off moves
The Bottom Line: This is a most excellent gaming diversion. Pick it up, play, and get in touch with your inner rock god!
Review: To say that Guitar Hero is a smash hit is quite the understatement. Video game company RedOctane released this riff ripper to nothing short of paramount success. Gamers, including this formerly unappreciative rock listening reviewer, flocked to this ...

Pros: More songs, more of the same if you already have GH2.
Cons: No widescreen support, easier than GH2 (expected). Solo more fun than multiplayer
The Bottom Line: If you already have GH2, GH is more of the same with a different track list. This is a good thing!
Review: The funny thing is that my brother and I bought Guitar Hero 2 first. It came with a guitar already, and when we started to long for more songs to play with, we bought the very first Guitar Hero. To us, it was more of an expansion than another game. We ...

Pros: A game that is actually hard, and requires some skill to master.
Cons: My prediction to be the number one cause of Carpeltunnel in the next 5 years.
The Bottom Line: All in all, this is a game that will literally rock.your.socks.off. It's one of those games that blows you away that you just want to play more and more.
Review: Have you ever wanted to stand on a stage in front of thousands of people. All of them cheering for you to play your song? Have you ever wanted to just look them all in the eye, and bust out a face melting, spine tingling song that gives them the ...

Pros: Virtually everything; game play, song variety, role playing, rendering, animation, strategy.
Cons: Few and far between.
The Bottom Line: This game is pure fun, and everyone owes it to themselves to give it a try. Guitar players especially will love this game.
