Ready to Rumble:Again
Date of Review: Aug 24, 2001
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you have a lot of friends or are bored, But I recomend Renting this for a day or two.
MUCH better then the Original. No longer can you just back away and uppercut your oponent. You now must get in there face with jabs. Also, The AI doesn't Just stand, block, and jab. It will tear you apart(well, compared to R2R)
Championship mode, to be franks, Changed. More Training games, And everything but the pills are free. As a trade off, stats go up AND down when you train, and you have set dates for fights. No more Exibition fights agaist your friend(My faverite part of R2R) and no switching fighters mid-way.
There are many Secret charitor(Ones that aren't in the book!) like Michal Jackson and Bill Clinton! However, each charitor must be unlocked in order, you can't use most of them in championship mode, and you can only save in championship mode.
R2R:Round 2 tries to make the multi-player better with team battle and a tourniment. Team batte is were each player has 4 boxers and they duke it out until one side loses all their boxers. This is fun with 8 players. Tourniment is (Duh) a single elimination tourniment, with up to 16 players in it. Great for parties.
The controls are the same, and so is the sound. Conrols are easy and sound Is, well, average.
