I am not a tennis player or fan, don’t watch it on tv etc, my wife & I do play (somewhat comically) on occasion when the weather isn’t bad.

This is standard, realistic tennis, not a cartoony (Hot Shots) like game.  The first time I saw it was as a demo in the video store, I was bored, I played the demo, and then to my OWN surprise, I bought it!  Very addicting and actually fun!  It has a lot of courts, challenges, players, and mini games.  The graphics are almost flawless.   I REALLY appreciate the ability to have up to 4 players sitting on my couch playing the game at the same time, more games need this ability.  Bummer, no online though.

I like the progression of completing the mini games & academy etc to increase your skills.  The comments from your doubles partners or competitors during cut scenes before the match are VERY lame.  The music gets old, it would have been nice to be able to use your own music as background.  The game sounds are perfect, surround is good, the players grunts (especially female) are funny.  The Tour may be a little easy, competitor AI could be tougher.
