Product Review

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

by   gmdixoniii ,   Jan 30, 2006

Pros:  Light weight television. I'd give the picture quality a 7+.

Cons:  bulbs are very expensive and can only be purchased from LG.

Overall Rating: 1/5 stars

Author's Review

I made a big mistake when buying this TV. I would give the picture quality a 7+ but the real kicker is that no one tells you when you're buying a DLP television that you have to replace the bulb every year with normal viewing. These bulbs can only be purchased from LG at a price of $234. Another $95 if you want to have it installed. It is easy to change the bulb but of course LG doesn't let you reset the lamp hours monitor light. You have to have a service remote to reset the indicator (again, $95 minimum service charge) I should have gone with plasma and will next time. And certainly not LG.
